More than P1/L decrease for diesel, gasoline up

A mixed movement in the prices of petroleum products is expected on Tuesday, Oct. 31.

Oil companies announced over the weekend that diesel could go down by P1.10 to P1.20 per liter, and kerosene by P0.70 to P1.10/L, while gasoline will increase by P0.40 to P0.60 per liter.

The exact adjustments will be known tomorrow, Oct. 30.

Effective Oct. 24, oil companies also implemented an increase of P1.30/L for diesel, P0.95/L for gasoline, and P1.25/L for kerosene.

These price adjustments resulted in a net increase of P11.70/liter diesel, P13.75/L for gasoline, and P6.24/L for kerosene in the first 10 months of this year, the Department of Energy Oil Monitor showed, adding “the week-on-week price of Dubai crude has increased by more than $3.80/bbl; additionally, MOPS, gasoline, diesel, and kerosene prices have also increased by around $2.20, $3.00 and $3.10 per barrel, respectively”. | CGC
