Two minors, aged 13 and 10, were pulled over by personnel of the Bacolod Traffic and Transportation Management Department (BTTMD) July 21, for driving a tricycle along Araneta Street.

The two boys from Ilog town were intercepted after failing to present the necessary documents for the vehicle.

“I was surprised to see children driving a tricycle, so we immediately flagged them down without hesitation,” traffic enforcer Marklin Jadraque said July 24.

Subsequent verification from the Highway Patrol Group-Bacolod revealed that the tricycle had been stolen from outside a hospital in Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental, while its owner was visiting a relative confined there.

The recovered tricycle is under the custody of HPG as authorities continue their investigation. | TMD
