The Negrense Volunteers for Change (NVC) Foundation is partnering with the Victorias City government for a supplementary feeding program, to promote nutrition among children from various barangays.

The program, launched today, April 12, at the Don Alejandro Acuña Yap Quiña Arts and Cultural Center in Victorias City, aims to help 307 undernourished children in the city through a year-long nutrition protocol designed by the NVC and supported by Sunlife Foundation Philippines.

The City Health Office said the program will provide augmentation support through a feeding program for borderline undernourished children, improve the knowledge attitude and nutrition of children in daycare centers, prevent nutritional determination of specific population, and address long term food storage.
