Pickleball tournament held in Dumaguete

Maxim Rides & Food Delivery supported the Tulbong Gyud Season 1 pickleball tournament, from July 24 to 26, at FKS Gymnasium in Dumaguete City, Negros Oriental.

Organized by Dumaguete-based pickleball and lifestyle content creator Shew Pickleball, the tournament brought together pickleball enthusiasts from across the city, celebrating the sport’s growing community.

As part of its support to the tournament, Maxim provided uniforms for its four representatives, who competed alongside fellow participants throughout the event. The company also presented special gifts to the tournament winners in recognition of their achievements.

“Tulbong Gyud Season 1 showcased the passion and camaraderie of Dumaguete’s pickleball community, and we are grateful to have been part of an event that encourages active lifestyles while celebrating local talent,” Ehurango said.

The tournament highlighted the growing popularity of pickleball in Dumaguete, giving players an opportunity to compete, build friendships, and inspire more residents to take up the sport.

Beyond the matches, the event reflected the strong community spirit fostered by local organizers and sports enthusiasts.
