A series of buy-busts led to the recovery of more than P500,000 worth of suspected shabu and the arrest of 10 persons in Negros Occidental on Wednesday, police reports showed.
Five of the suspects, who were apprehended in Silay City, yielded 12 grams of suspected shabu valued at P81,600.
The arrest of alias “Iyong” in Barangay Oringao, Kabankalan City resulted in the confiscation of about 40 grams of suspected shabu worth P272,00.
Four other drug suspects were arrested by the police in Binalbagan town and the cities of Victorias and Himamaylan.
Their apprehension yielded 20 grams of suspected shabu valued at P136,000.
The arrested suspects are facing charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. | GB
