The prosecution panel in the Senate impeachment trial on Friday presented an analysis claiming that the combined alleged undeclared assets and unexplained wealth of Vice President Sara Duterte and her husband, lawyer Manases “Mans” Carpio, reached nearly P1 billion from 2022 to 2025.

The analysis showed that alleged undeclared cash holdings totaled P207.7 million during the period, including P60.21 million in 2022, P80.7 million in 2023, P23.17 million in 2024, and P43.61 million in 2025.

Cabrera’s computation also identified P143.5 million in alleged undeclared personal and real properties, net of deductions. The amount consisted of P76.15 million in 2022, P3.93 million in 2023, P52.02 million in 2024, and P11.4 million in 2025.

The prosecution also cited an estimated P111.85 million in allegedly undeclared income earned by the Duterte-Carpio couple. The analysis attributed P50.47 million to 2022, P12.2 million to 2023, P28.03 million to 2024, and P21.15 million to 2025.

In addition, Cabrera’s report highlighted alleged undeclared income involving the companies Cale88 and Metro City. The combined amount reached P142.2 million, increasing from P3.79 million in 2022 to P14.79 million in 2023 before surging to P86.94 million in 2024. The figure stood at P36.67 million in 2025.

The analysis likewise reported P212.63 million in alleged undeclared income linked to GenCorp from 2023 to 2025. No amount was recorded under the category in 2022. The estimated figures were P55.71 million in 2023, P74.06 million in 2024, and P82.86 million in 2025.

Cabrera, a lawyer and CPA with more than 30 years of experience in accounting, taxation, forensic audits, fraud investigations, and financial analysis, told the impeachment court that his findings placed more than P817 million at the center of the controversy over the Duterte-Carpio couple’s alleged undeclared assets and unexplained wealth. |
