The Hongcheon Mugunghwa Lions Club, led by president Oh Seong-ryong, and under the International Lions Clubs Association, and the Cavite Asmepps Lions Club, with president Dexter Midas Deferia, in the Philippines conducted a joint briquette sharing volunteer activity in Bukbang-myeon, Hongcheon-gun on June 15, practicing the warm love of neighbors.

This volunteer work was carried out with the cooperation of the corporation “Neighbor”, led by president Park Hak-cheon.

Members of both clubs delivered 500 briquettes to a vulnerable household, amid the sweltering heat.

President Oh Seong-ryong of the Hongcheon Mugunghwa Lions Club said: “It was meaningful to be able to share warmth with the local community through international cooperation. We will continue to lead the way in volunteer work with the local community.”
