All 106 personnel of the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology-Negros Island Region (BJMP-NIR) tested negative for illegal drugs, following an agency-wide screening Sept. 21 in Bacolod City.
Facilitated by the Health Service Division, the test covered all employees as part of ongoing efforts to ensure a safe and drug-free workplace.
Health personnel led the collection of sample specimens, in strict accordance with established protocols, to guarantee process integrity and confidentiality while maintaining normal office operations.
The BJMP-NIR said in a press release that it remains committed to promoting a safe, healthy, and drug-free workplace as it continues its mission of changing lives and building a safer nation.
The agency said they recorded no issues or incidents during the drug testing. | TMD
