Engr. Joel Vergara, DPS assistant department head, said they installed the CCTV cameras, donated by the IPM Construction and Development Corporation, to monitor and prevent the indiscriminate dumping of market waste.

Vergara said that through the CCTV cameras, they could also check if there are uncollected garbage around the market and notify the IPM-CDC so that these can immediately be hauled and disposed of properly. ||
