The Progressive Alliance of Capitol Employees said they are waiting for the announcement of Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson on the amount of bonuses that they will receive.
PACE president Renelo Lastierre said the bonuses include the Collective Negotiation Incentive (CNI), which under a Department of Budget and Management circular may amount to P25,000, the Productive Enhancement Incentive, the Incentive Benefit for Exemplary Services, and the Service Recognition Incentive.
“It is up to the governor to approve the amount within the maximum allowed under the DBM circular,” Lastierre said.
He said that according to the Provincial Budget Office, the Capitol has sufficient funds for the bonuses of the employees, composed of around 3,000 regular and casuals.
“The Capitol employees are very happy that their efforts during this crisis were recognized, particularly the health workers and front liners,” Lastierre said.
He said Lacson might announce the total amount of bonuses next week during his birthday celebration and the switch-on of the Christmas tree and lights at the Capitol grounds in Bacolod City. — MML
