The next city administrator of Bacolod City will come from another local government unit (LGU), Mayor Alfredo Abelardo Benitez himself said on Saturday.
Benitez, however, refused to name yet the successor of lawyer Pacifico Maghari III, who resigned on Nov. 1 after a year and four months of service to the city government.
“The new city administrator will first be introduced to the department heads in a meeting,” the mayor said.
Benitez said the transfer of incoming city administrator is now being processed.
“It is somebody I can work closely with and more of an implementor. As you know, I’m a hands-on mayor. I try to implement programs and projects myself. I need somebody that can implement properly,” he added. | GB
