Bacolod City is preparing to welcome 35,894 delegates from 207 local government units for the national finals of Batang Pinoy 2026, scheduled from Dec. 12 to 18.
The Philippine Sports Commission (PSC), led by chairman John Patrick “Pato” Gregorio, finalized logistics, venue security, and billeting arrangements during a coordination meeting with city government officials Oct. 28.
The PSC said 27,763 youth athletes, 6,144 coaches, and 1,987 delegation officials are expected in Bacolod for the games.
The city said it will use the PSC’s centralized games management system, alongside the comprehensive security deployment plans prepared by the Bacolod City Police Office, to ensure a smooth and peaceful hosting of Batang Pinoy. | TMD
