The city government of San Carlos in Negros Occidental, through the Local Economic Development and Investment Promotion Office (LEDIPO), recognized 14 exhibitors during the closing ceremony of the MSME Week 2026 Tourism Sector Exhibit at the City Hall lobby.
LEDIP officer Ma. Novah Sollesta said the closing program celebrated the successful two-day exhibit while recognizing the dedication, creativity, resilience, and collaboration of local MSMEs, whose contributions continue to promote tourism, stimulate the local economy, and strengthen partnerships toward a more progressive and sustainable tourism industry in San Carlos, the city said July 8.
She commended the exhibitors for actively showcasing the city’s tourism products and services, and encouraged them to continue innovating and working together to further strengthen San Carlos as a tourism destination.



Representatives from Palau Hotel and Ma. Awani Hotel and Suites thanked the local government for providing them with the opportunity to showcase their products and services, helping promote their businesses, and reach more potential customers.
The awarding of certificates was led by Councilor Victoriana Cabili, city administrator, Atty. Estefanio Libutan Jr., executive assistant to the mayor Aireen Rose Gustilo-Gonzales, and Sollesta. The program concluded with a buffet featuring dishes prepared by the participating exhibitors, allowing guests to experience the local flavors and hospitality showcased throughout the exhibit. | SCC PIO photos
