The Bacolod City government will launch the 6100 hotline this week to directly address various concerns and complaints of residents.
Operated directly under the Mayor’s Office, the hotline will serve as a one-stop desk handling inquiries, service requests, and program clarifications across all city departments.
“We will launch the hotline anytime within the week, we are currently finalizing some of its other aspects,” Bacolod Mayor Greg Gasataya said.
By dialing the local area code followed by 6100, residents can easily connect with the city’s offices and departments.
Gasataya said the initiative was developed following recent typhoons, during which residents struggled to contact the correct offices for assistance in clearing fallen trees and debris from roads.
The hotline is for general government concerns and will not handle emergency and medical situations, the city clarified. | TMD
