Four NIR policemen get medals for arrest of most wanted persons

The Police Regional Office-Negros Island Region (PRO-NIR) recognized its four personnel for their focused, intelligence-driven operations, which led to the capture of two regional most wanted fugitives.

The awarding ceremony was led by PRO-NIR Director PBrig. Gen. Arnold Thomas Ibay, with La Castellana Vice Mayor Alme Rhummyla Nicor-Mangilimutan as the guest of honor and speaker, at Camp Alfredo Montelibano Sr. in Bacolod City on May 4.

Awarded the Medalya ng Kagalingan were PCapt. Lindsey Caraballe, PSSg Reymond Leyson, PLt. Merlyndo Bulandres, and PEMS Jovanie de Lara.

In a statement, the PRO-NIR said it will continue to intensify its campaign against fugitives, reinforcing its mandate to uphold the rule of law and protect the public. | GB
