Negros Occidental Gov. Eugenio Jose Lacson said Wednesday, Feb. 18 that the provincial government will give a financial aid of P120,000 to the mother of the three siblings, who were victims of a stone attack, in Barangay E. Lopez, Silay City.

The recipient, Ronelyn Bornales, is an overseas Filipino worker in Saudi Arabia.

Of the three victims, the nine-year-old girl died while her two other siblings are still being treated at the Corazon Locsin Montelibano Memorial Regional Hospital in Bacolod City.
