Policemen seized P2 million worth of suspected shabu during an entrapment operation at Deca Homes Subdivision in Barangay Cabug, Bacolod City on Monday (Dec. 1), the Bacolod City Police Office (BCPO) said in a report.
The confiscation of about 300 grams of suspected shabu valued at P2.04 million also led to the arrest of alias “Nino” and alias “Stephen”, both residents of Barangay Handumanan, Bacolod City.
The arrest of the two suspects, tagged by the police as high value individual drug personalities, was implemented by operatives of the City Drug Enforcement Unit (CDEU) led by PLt. Col. Antonio Benitez.
On Nov. 28, CDEU operatives also confiscated P1.02 million worth of suspected shabu from two arrested drug personalities at Purok Cereza South in Barangay 3. The four drug suspects are now locked up in jail. | GB
