The National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) demonstrated its commitment to corporate social responsibility by delivering rice and bottled water to families affected by a disaster in Canlaon City, Negros Oriental recently.

The ceremonial turnover, attended by Negros Oriental Governor Manuel “Chaco” Sagarbarria, symbolized the partnership between the NGCP and the local government in addressing social issues and providing assistance to those who require it most, the governor said in a post.

The NGCP’s dedication in establishing its corporate social responsibility to the nation is commendable. Through initiatives like this, the corporation is able to make a positive impact on society and contribute towards building a more resilient and inclusive community.

NGCP sets an example for other companies to follow suit and prioritize giving back to society as part of their business operations, the governor added. ||
