MP road project ends upland village isolation

Better access to the isolated upland sitio of Agogolo in Barangay Macagahay is now possible with the completion of a 6.5-km. dirt road by the Moises Padilla local government,

Mayor Ella Celestina Garcia-Yulo and Vice Mayor  and Vice Mayor Adrian Villaflor led  officials who inspectted the newly-completed road project, which was started in July.

Mayor Garcia thanked the provincial government for lending its bulldozer used in the rpad expansion project.

The isolated sitio which has an elevation of 500  meters above sea level, was previously accessible only by foot or horse.

Joining the two officials in the inspection were Councilor  Vincent Bryan Garcia, Team Espada,  the Hilux Group, and Team Ironman , which are Bacolod-based off-road riders’ clubs. CDG
