Lacson adjusts curfew hours

Negros Occidental remains under the modified general community quarantine (MGCQ) until June 30, 2021 with curfew hours from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m., Gov. Eugenio Lacson stated in his latest Executive Order.

Previously, the province observed the 8 p.m. to 4 a.m. curfew hours.

                In his Executive Order 21-21, Series of 2021, the governor said that the Department of Health has classified the province as a “low-risk” area and inbound travelers are still required to register with the S-Pass travel management system and the StaySafe application.

                “Stringent measures on mass gatherings shall remain in full force and effect,” the governor ordere.

                Exempted from curfew hours are persons in need of emergency services, personnel in cargo vehicles, and Authorized Persons Outside their Residence with a valid work schedule.

                As of March 30, Negros Occidental logged 1,426 active cases, out of 15,018 cases since last year, with  13,255 recoveries, and 337 deaths. — GB
