There will be mixed oil price adjustment this week, with gasoline set to roll back by P0.70 to P0.90 per liter, while diesel and kerosene will continue their upward movements.

Oil companies announced over the weekend that diesel will increase by P0.40 to P0.60/L, and kerosene by P0.40 to P0.80/L.

The exact adjustments will be known today, June 3.

This will be the third straight week of price increase for diesel and kerosene.

On May 28, oil companies implemented a per liter price hike of P0.40/liter for both gasoline and diesel, and by P0.30/liter for kerosene.

The latest movements resulted in a net increase of P7.55/liter and P4.85/liter, respectively, for gasoline and diesel; and a net decrease of P1.05 per liter for kerosene since the start of this year, the Department of Energy Oil Monitor showed.

Meanwhile, there will be no movement in Petron’s LPG prices, to reflect the international contract price of liquefied petroleum gas for the month of June. | CGC
