The Negros Occidental Division swept the high school category while the Sipalay City Division dominated the elementary category in the 6th Battle of Bots: Southern District Robotics Competition 2026.
Isabela National High School secured a historic three-peat in the Project Innovative Prototype category and also won the High School Sumobot championship. Cabacungan National High School of La Castellana retained its Line Tracing title while Bulwangan Farm School of Hinoba-an topped the Zero-Waste Mission Challenge.
In the elementary division, Genaro P. Alvarez Elementary School won the Zero-Waste Mission Challenge while Binulig Elementary School captured the Line Tracing championship.
Newcomer Candoni Central Elementary School scored an upset victory in the Elementary Sumobot category in its competition debut.
The competition was organized by the Provincial Government of Negros Occidental through the Negros Occidental Language and Information Technology Center in partnership with the Sipalay City Government, Local Youth Development Office, and Pinoy Robot Games. | GPB
