The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) has turned over two newly-constructed stalls at Barangay Don Jorge L. Araneta public market in Bago City, Negros Occidental Aug. 17.

The P2 million worth of project was funded through the 2024 Seal of Good Local Governance-Incentive Fund (SGLG-IF).

Mayor Mayette Javellana-Yao, who led the blessing and inauguration, stressed that the SGLG is more than just an award or recognition. “Mas importante kun paano naton ini mabalik sa aton mga kasimanwa. And today, we see exactly that – ang bunga sang maayo nga pagdumala nagabalik sa aton katawhan.”
