BCPO seizes over P761,000 in shabu

Police arrested four drug suspects, including a high-value target, and seized over P761,000 worth of suspected shabu in two buy-bust operations across Bacolod City Aug. 4.

Operatives of the City Drug Enforcement Unit led the first sting at around 8:04 p.m. in Barangay 33, and arrested a high-value individual and a street-level suspect, both 20 years old.

Around 100 grams of suspected shabu, worth about P680,000, along with the buy-bust money and non-drug evidence, were seized from them.

The second operation, conducted by Police Station 9 personnel, at at around 11:31 p.m. in Purok San Jose 1, Barangay Sum-ag, resulted in the arrest of two street-level suspects, aged 30 and 21 years old, and the confiscation of 12 grams of suspected shabu, valued at P81,600.

All four suspects are in police custody and facing charges for violating Republic Act 9165, or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, while the seized items were turned over to the PNP Provincial Forensic Unit for laboratory examination. | TMD
