The Red Team finished with 824 pinfalls to capture the championship in this year’s Negros Press Club (NPC) Bowling Fest, held on July 18 at the Super Bowling Lanes in Goldenfields, Bacolod City.
Just three points behind was the Orange Team with 821 pinfalls, while the Blue Team toppled 732 pins to secure third place honors. The Pink Team landed in fourth place with 700 points.
Individual awards went to Babes Gantalao for Highest Pinning in the men’s category with 82 pinfalls, and Dolly Yasa in the women’s bracket with 84.
James Toga collected twin awards after topping the men’s Single and Double Pinning events with 115 and 209 points, respectively.
Dolores Miranda replicated the feat in the women’s division with 99 and 182 pinfalls. Miranda also earned the Best Female Striker award, while Henceboy Cestina took home the Best Male Striker honors.
The annual tournament was supported by Teleperformance, represented by Levi Trio during the event.
NPC president Prime Tejida thanked all members for joining the competition and for demonstrating true sportsmanship throughout the tournament. ||
