Authorities are appealing to the public for help in identifying the man, who was brutally hacked to death late Wednesday night, July 8, in Purok Lampirong, Barangay 2, Bacolod City.
While the alleged killer, alias “Lim-aw”, 24, of Sitio Sook, Barangay Mabato, Ayungon, was arrested, the dead man has yet to be identified.
Police investigations show the victim was repeatedly hacked with a 21-inch cane knife, and sustained deep hack wounds on his left arm and neck, causing his immediate death.
The suspect is detained at Police Station 2, and is facing criminal charges.
The police is calling on anyone with a missing male relative, or any information regarding the victim’s identity, to contact or visit the Police Station 2. | TMD
