A businessman from the United States was arrested for qualified trespass to dwelling in Barangay San Pedro, Binalbagan, Negros Occidental on June 11.
Alias “Jeffrey,” 50, who is from Long Beach, California, was served a warrant of arrest issued by the Municipal Trial Court (MTC) in Binalbagan.
The Binalbagan MTC has recommended a P36,000 bail for his provisional liberty.
He is now under the custody of the Binalbagan Municipal Police Station.
Meanwhile, three other suspects were separately arrested by the police in the cities of Sagay and Victorias as well Pontevedra town in Negros Occidental for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 on June 11.
The apprehension of the three suspects led to the confiscation of 18 grams of suspected shabu with a market value of P126,000, police reports showed. | GB
