A 39-year-old vendor was found submerged in an irrigation structure in Purok Narra, Barangay Malingin, Bago City, Negros Occidental, July 7.
The Bago City Component Police Station said the victim, identified only as “Edmon”, was discovered by his brother at around 7:20 a.m. while searching for him along the canal.
His brother pulled him onto the embankment after noticing multiple injuries on different parts of his body.
Emergency responders transported the victim to the Bago City Hospital, where he was declared dead on arrival by an attending physician.
Authorities are conducting a thorough investigation to identify the suspect/s and determine the motive for the killing. | TMD
