The pump prices of petroleum products will increase anew, effective tomorrow, Feb. 10.

Oil companies announced over the weekend that diesel will increase from P0.80 to P1 per liter, gasoline by P0.40 to P0.70/L, and kerosene by P0.40 to P0.70/L.

Exact adjustments will be known today, Feb. 9.

This will be the fifth straight week of increases for gasoline, and the sixth for diesel and kerosene since the start of this year, still due to persistent geopolitical tensions and tight supply conditions, as well as other global market factors, oil companies said.

Effective Feb. 3, the per liter price of diesel increased by P1.60, gasoline by P0.80/L, and kerosene by P1.10/L.

Meanwhile, the Department of Energy is urging concerned stakeholders to join the virtual consultation on Feb. 12, starting at 10 a.m., on the proposed amendments to the requirements for the establishment of a technology-solution retail outlet (TSRO) per Section 15 of Department Circular DC 2017-11-0011.

The circular promulgates the revised rules and regulations governing the business of retailing liquid fuels.
