San Carlos Mayor Renato Gustilo led the inauguration and turnover of a new two-storey, six-classroom building at Guadalupe Integrated School in the city recently.
The project, worth P15,112,261.88, was funded by the San Carlos City government and was constructed from January to October 2025.
Rev. Fr. Dionisio Nacario Jr., parish priest of the Birhen sa Antipolo Mission Station in Barangay Buluangan, blessed the new facility.

Schools Division OIC superintendent Ma. Teresa Geroso, assistant schools division superintendent Heidelyn Geromiano, and parents joined Gustilo, OIC principal Lomer Bordaje, and punong barangay Romeo Descartin of Guadalupe during the ceremony.
Bordaje said in a city press release that they requested an additional classroom building due to the increasing number of learners each year, noting that the school currently has about 750 learners, from kindergarten to Grade 9.
He added that the new building will accommodate grades 7 to 10 starting next school year.
Also present during the inauguration were Leah Nemenzo, EPS–Values Education; Jenette Carbajosa, EPS–Filipino; Hernor De Asis, EPS–Kindergarten; and Ronnie Vierneza, Administrative Officer IV, Supply Office. ||
