PCol. Dennis Wenceslao has been named the next provincial director of the Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office (NOCPPO), succeeding PCol. Rainerio de Chavez, who was relieved and transferred to the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group.
The appointment of Wenceslao was announced by Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson on Friday (Sept. 5).
Before his new assignment, Wenceslao, a graduate of the Philippine National Police Academy, is the chief of the Regional Investigation Detective Management Division of Police Regional Office-Negros Island Region.
“I am confident that he can do a good job as the new provincial Director,” the governor said.
Lacson said his directive to Wenceslao would be the maintenance of peace and order, not to favor anyone, and visit the local chief executives in their respective offices. | GB
