It tells the story of two lifelong best friends, Jo (H.E.R.) and Raissa (Liza Soberano), who are about to be separatated when Raissa gets into California Technological University (Caltech). On their last night together, they find a magic sand dollar that portals them to Nakali, the forgotten island of creatures from Filipino folklore. To get home, they must pay the price of sacrificing all their shared memories. Other cast members are Lea Salonga as the dreaded “manananggal,” Manny Jacinto, Dolly de Leon, Jo Koy, Ronny Chieng, Jenny Slate, and Dave Franco.

Families and shoppers will likewise enjoy the new, expanded World of Fun (WOF) entertainment center as it has added more state-of-the-art games and other gadgets that Gen Z’ers and even adults can enjoy. “We have transferred the previous WOF facility to the expansion area for a more spacious, easy to navigate way of hopping from one game to another, including our assistive reality (AR) and virtual reality (VR) games,” explained Airil Florendo, WOF marketing supervisor.

Moreover, a dedicated chapel also provides a meaningful space for reflection and community gatherings, complemented by a serene vantage point overlooking the city. Eucharistic Masses are scheduled at 10 a.m. on Sundays.

In addition, a new Eat Street on the fourth level offers an elevated dining experience, featuring new dining choices, vibrant design, comfortable seating, and an al fresco setting with beautiful views. With this exciting new additions, everyday moments come together with more to see, more to taste, and more reasons to stay a little longer.

Beyond the new brands and experiences, the expansion introduces a refreshed environment that reflects Robinsons Land’s approach to creating spaces that are purposeful, welcoming, and connected to the communities they serve.

The design draws inspiration from the spirit of Dumaguete’s Sandurot Festival, which celebrates friendship, togetherness, and the city’s welcoming character. The development also incorporates sustainability features including energy-efficient lighting, advanced waste management systems, and water-saving fixtures.

Robinsons Dumaguete’s expansion reflects Robinsons Land’s continued commitment to investing in regional growth and creating spaces that enrich everyday life. As Dumaguete continues to evolve, Robinsons Dumaguete grows alongside it, building on the familiarity of a trusted destination while introducing more elevated retail, dining, and leisure experiences for the community to enjoy.
