The Land Bank of the Philippines has expressed its readiness to partner with the Negros Occidental provincial government in advancing digital transformation efforts aimed at modernizing financial services and transactions.
Landbank officials led by president and chief executive officer Lynette Ortiz on Monday (Sept. 1) paid a courtesy call on Vice Governor Jose Benito Alonso, who is in-charge of the Provincial Capitol while Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson is on leave.
Landbank officials presented its digital tools designed to enhance efficiency and public accessibility, emphasizing the importance of user-friendly interfaces.
The meeting also highlighted the use of Landbank’s digital portals and the coordination with the Provincial Treasurer’s Office to enhance the provincial government’s online services and transactions through the integration of Landbank’s digital banking platform.
During the meeting, Provincial Administrator Rayfrando Diaz II reaffirmed the provincial government’s commitment to digital transformation and its continued efforts to enhance online services for the public.
Diaz also highlighted the province’s transition to solar energy, citing its significant cost-saving benefits.
In response, Landbank shared that it offers financing options for renewable energy initiatives, including solar installations for other projects within the province.
Landbank also lauded the provincial government for the user-friendly and well-designed digital portal implemented in the Mambukal Resort and Wildlife Sanctuary operations. ||
