Two persons were gunned down by four unidentified assailants at Stop Aguinaldo in Barangay San Isidro, Toboso, Negros Occidental yesterday June 22.
Initial police investigation showed that alias “Elias”, 56, an ambulant vendor, was shot behind the head while attending to his customers during market day.
The other victim, alias “Joebert”, 41, who was reported to be a brother of a policeman, was also shot.
He was chased by the assailants when he attempted to leave the scene of the incident.
The armed men, who fled immediately, were wearing denim pants and black sweatshirts, witnesses said.
Several fired cartridges of still undetermined caliber of firearms were recovered at the scene of incident. | GB
