DENR cites NegOr’s Bayawan for solid waste mgmt. practices

Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR) Secretary Juan Miguel Cuna has commended the Bayawan City government for establishing “effective solid waste management practices” under Republic Act 9003, or the Ecological Solid Waste Management Act of 2000, and encouraged other local government units (LGUs) to replicate its operational framework.
