The Tagukon Agricultural Tramline in Sitio Minaluha, Brgy. Tagukon, Kabankalan City, Negros Occidental has been repaired, and funded by the provincial government of Negros Occidental, through the Office of the Provincial Agriculturist.

Members of two families from Bacolod City, among them an anti-vax pastor, were discovered using fake vaccination cards, when they were processing their requirements for travel abroad, at a vaccination certificate helpdesk in a mall.

Another name in the list of candidates for councilor in Bacolod City in the May 9 elections is Christian John Weber from Eroreco in Barangay Mandalagan.
A graduate of Computer System Design and Programming, Weber was raised by his grandmother, the late Mrs. Fay Gamboa Weber from Silay City. He is also the great grandson of Jose Belleza Gamboa, one of the freedom fighters from northern Negros Occidental during the Spanish war.
