Soldiers of the 15th Infantry Battalion are returning to southern Negros, following the completion of the two-month Battalion of Excellence (BOE) Training Program of the 3rd Infantry Division, Oct. 28 at Camp Macario Peralta in Jamindan, Capiz.
The 15IB operates in the southwest portion of Negros Island, and is under the supervision of the Army’s 302nd Infantry Brigade.
Major Gen. Benedict Arevalo, 3ID commander, who served as speaker during the graduation rites, said in a statement that he is optimistic that the 15IB warriors are now ready to face any challenge as they return to their area of deployment.
The BOE training program is the centerpiece of the Philippine Army’s capability development and improvement of organizational performance.
