Western Visayas police director, P/Brig. General Flynn Dongbo, warned erring police personnel to stop their illegal activities, before it will be too late for them.

Dongbo, who visited the Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office and the Bacolod City Police Office Nov. 26, called on cops linked to illegal activities to think of consequences, not only to themselves but to their families.

“You will soon be arrested,” Dongbo said as he vowed to continue the internal cleansing within the police organization in Region 6.

Speaking before personnel of the NOCPPO at Camp Alfredo Montelibano Sr. in Bacolod City, Dongbo ordered police commanders to strictly monitor the activities of their subordinates, to help ensure that they will not go astray.

He vowed to continue the PNP’s intensified cleanliness policy to ensure cleanliness in police stations, ranks, and the community.

“We work as one, we work to be number one,” said Dongbo, who also visited the BCPO under the leadership of P/Col. Joseph Martir.

Dongbo, who previously served as BCPO director, also paid a courtesy call on Gov. Eugenio Jose Lacson, accompanied by P/Col. Romy Palgue, provincial police director of Negros Occidental. — GB
