The latest version of the Vamos app, called Vamos Cares, was also launched. It features news and announcements, emergency response, law enforcement, utility bills and payments, business permits and taxes, e-tickets, document tracking, and others that are user-friendly and economically feasible, and will be upgraded as needed.
San Carlos City Mayor Renato Gustilo thanked the Sangguniang Panlungsod members for allocating funds for the festival activities, a press release from the city said Oct. 29.
He urged government employees and residents to celebrate the fiesta with caution amid the continuing COVID-19 crisis.
Gustilo said he also hopes for a better and fruitful celebration of Christmas even in the face of challenges brought by the pandemic. | NND
