Several road closures will take effect starting Friday afternoon, Sept. 30, for various events in line with the MassKara Festival celebration.
This as the Sangguniang Panlungsod of Bacolod Thursday, Sept. 29, approved an omnibus resolution favorably endorsing to the City Mayor’s Office the letter-request of Atty. Pinky Mirano-Ocampo, festival director, on the temporary road closures, barricades, warning signs, and traffic assistance, in line with the 43rd MassKara celebration.
Gatuslao Street will be closed every 4 p.m., and Gonzaga, San Juan, and Rizal streets every 11 p.m., all starting Sept. 30 until Oct. 24, to give way to the plaza food fest and concerts. Regular traffic flow will be from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. on those days.
The right lane of Megaworld’s The Upper East strip facing Lopez Jaena Street will be closed from 11 p.m. Sept. 30 to 6 a.m. on Oct. 24, and the strip’s left lane from 11 p.m. on Oct. 14 to 2 p.m. of Oct. 15. ||
