Remnants of the New People’s Army (NPA) Leonardo Panaligan Command has claimed responsibility for the death of an alleged “police asset” on Jan. 9 in Guihulngan City, Negros Oriental.

Its spokesman Ka JB Regalado said that they congratulated the unit that carried out the “imposition of death penalty” on Eddie Delosindo, whom he accused of being an intelligence asset of the Guihulngan City Police Station.

Delosindo, 54, a casual employee of the local government unit, was gunned down by the assailants in Sitio Mainit, Barangay Bulado Tuesday night.

Regalado recalled that Zequil Delosindo, leader of the Salvatore fanatic group and father of Eddie, was also killed by the NPA in 1988. | GB
