Police offices get new equipment

To enhance and boost units under the Police Regional Office 6, lift their capabilities, and help improve their services, equipment and assets worth around P16.9 million were distributed to provincial and city police offices all over Western Visayas Aug. 22.

PRO6 director, P/BGen Jack Wanky, and other officers led the distribution of three units of light transport vehicle, five Patrol Jeep 4×2, 31 light motorcycles, 203 tires, and 5,000 drug testing kits, among others.

Wanky thanked the Philippine National Police and President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. for these assets.

“These equipment and assets were from the taxes of our fellow citizens, so let us use these judiciously,” he told his personnel during the distribution, adding these will greatly contribute to enhancing police capabilities in delivering better and faster services to the people of Western Visayas. ||
