The Department of Foreign Affairs-Office of Consular Affairs (DFA-OCA) said May 30 that the Passport Online Appointment System (OAS) has resumed after it underwent operational maintenance to resolve unforeseen technical issues.
The public can now book their passport appointments at the DFA passport appointment portal at www.passport.gov.ph, the DFA-OCA said in an advisory.
Applicants who set passport appointments on May 28 may proceed to the consular office, foreign service post, or temporary off-site passport services site (TOPS) where they booked their application for further accommodation and assistance with their passport application, it added.
The OAS experienced technical glitches the other day, and the DFA said it immediately worked with its service provider to resolve the issues as soon as possible. “We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your cooperation and understanding”. ||
