Panaad sa Negros sales hit P4.4M

The Panaad sa Negros Festival has generated total sales of P4.456 million during the first two days of the festivities, from April 15 to 16, at the Panaad Park and Stadium in Bacolod City.

This year’s two-day sales was higher by P532,199 compared to P3.924 million for  the same period in 2023.

Sales on April 15, which was the opening day, was recorded at P2.208 million, of which local government unit (LGU) pavilions had the biggest income at P1.020 million.

On April 16, the income increased to P2.248 million, of which the LGU pavilions still reaped the biggest sales at P2.441 million.

The San Miguel/ Garden Show posted a total income of P1.160 million; Food Alley, P400,859; Provincial Veterinary Office, P310,545;  MUAD Trade Fair,  P85,342; and Office of the Provincial Agriculturist, P58,552.

The Panaad Festival’s main feature is the showcase of the themed pavilions of the 32 LGUs, including highly-urbanized Bacolod City, designed as replicas of their municipal or city halls, or the products they are known for. | GB
