The Art Association of Bacolod (AAB) launched its first group exhibition for this year, in partnership with SM City Bacolod, at the North Block of the mall that is ongoing until March 22.
Titled “Our Story”, the show is a celebration, not only of the beauty of art, but also of the creativity, strength, and resilience of women – a fitting showcase in celebration of the Women’s Month.
Each brushstroke, color, and form in this exhibit tells a story of faith, passion, and perseverance, and the group hopes that it will inspire all who view the artworks.

Guest of honor at the opening March 16 was Phoebe David, country president of the Association of Business Women in Commerce and Industry, and CEO and founder of Brazaville Beach Resort in Hinoba-an, Negros Occidental.
Also present to show her support was May Castro, PR manager of SM City Bacolod.
The exhibition features the works of Juliet Emperado, Konica Faustino, Miriam Bayles, Corazon “Sony” Golez, Mei Lonasco, Pablita Nava, Cora Soriano, Marj Masangkay, Princy Martir, Bamboo Tonogbanua, Fe Sumagaysay, Anette Feria, Annalyn Trespecio, Joesar Garcillan, Alta Vallota, Sandy Solinap, Flozard Gedalanga, Robert De Aro, Gigi Villamor, Marie Joy Resurreccion, Rommel Clavecillas, Jenevieve Abeto, Marlon Domino, Roanna Ruperto, Rafael “Paeng” Paderna, Leopoldo Bautista, Cresline Corsiga, Alfred Esparcia, Agustin Chavez Jr., Patty Ong, and Chrysee Samillano.
