Johana Marie Oyog of Barangay Oringao was crowned Miss Sinulog sa Kabankalan 2026, the city said Jan. 17.
She also won as Best in Tribal Costume, Best in Swimwear, Best in Evening Gown (Designer), and Best in Evening Gown, and bagged the most prizes in the Corporate Awards.
Carla Marie Obogon Carmona of Barangay Tres was first runner-up, and Zuria Mae Mirano of Barangay Camingawan was second runner-up as well as Miss Photogenic and Best in Talent.

The coronation night, held Jan. 15, was one of the highlights of the 50th Sinulog sa Kabankalan Festival. It was graced by Mayor Benjie Miranda and Vice Mayor Divina Miranda, together with members of the Kabankalan Sangguniang Panlungsod, Sinulog Foundation chairman Rey Cordero, MSK chairman SP Jerzy Guanzon, members of the Board of Directors, and barangay officials, all united in celebrating Kabankalan’s rich culture and heritage.
Meanwhile, winners of the Sinulog Mardi Gras arena and streetdance competition, which showcased the creativity, passion, and cultural pride of all participating contingents, were also awarded.
The Tampalon National High School bagged the championship trophy, as well as Best in Production Design, Best in Costume, and Best Mardi Gras Queen special awards.

First place was the contingent from Kabankalan Catholic College, which also received the Best in Performance special award, while second place was the Camingawan National High School.
The Tapi National High School, meanwhile, took home the Best Tribal Banner and Best in Streetdancing awards, the city said, adding that all contingents showcased creativity, devotion, and excellence in this year’s Sinulog celebration. ||
