Governor Eugenio Jose Lacson lauded the performance of the Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office (NOCPPO) for 2025 especially in peace and order as well as in response to calamities.
“In times of disasters and calamities, the Philippine National Police (PNP) has consistently helped our people regain a sense of safety and stability,” Lacson said in his speech during the New Year’s Call of the NOCPPO staff and police chiefs at the Capitol Social Hall in Bacolod City on Monday (Jan. 12).
“Not only the provincial government recognized their achievements, but also the PNP national headquarters. In short, they have not disappointed us,” the governor said.
NOCPPO Director PCol. Dennis Wenceslao reaffirmed his commitment and support to the governor and his programs, specifically those prioritizing public order and safety.
Lacson said they are hoping to continue the strong collaboration between the NOCPPO and the provincial government as he also assured them of support in terms of infrastructure and uplifting the training of police officers, among others.
He also expressed unwavering confidence in law enforcement under Wenceslao’s leadership.
“I am confident that with your continued dedication and our sustained collaboration, we can face the year ahead with resolve and optimism,” the governor said.
