An employee of the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) was shot dead by an unidentified gunman in Barangay Mambaroto, Sipalay City, Negros Occidental on Monday, July 8.
The victim was identified as Andre Maria Pajarillo, 57, a resident of Barangay East Proper, Candoni town.
He was on his way to Sipalay on board an XR 125 motorcycle when he was shot at around 8:42 a.m.
With two wounds in the head, he was declared dead on arrival at the Sipalay City Health Office, the police report said.
Two fired cartridges of caliber 9mm pistol were recovered by investigators. | GB
