The Central Negros Electric Cooperative Inc. donated sacks of rice, dry goods, and sanitary kits to 36 families in Barangay 10, Bacolod City, whose homes were destroyed by a fire Feb. 16.
The donation, that is part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR) program, was spearheaded by Ceneco District V director Antonino Panique, together with MCISD chief Unice Pasaylo-Castillon, and Engr. Q Panisales from Member-Consumers Integrated Services Division, in coordination with Barangay 10 Captain Melvin Bravo and officials.

A site inspection was also done in the area, the Ceneco said in a press release Monday, and affected families were informed of the process on how to apply for the reconnection of their electric service, among others. ||
