Negros Occidental Provincial Administrator, Atty. Rayfrando Diaz, assured Capitol employees that their Performance Based Bonus will be released to them within this month.

“We are just waiting for the guidelines from the Civil Service Commission,” Diaz said.

Entitled to receive the PBB, which represents 60 percent of an employee’s basic monthly salary, are regular and casual employees, he said.

Last month, Capitol regular, casual, and plantilla employees each received P50,000 additional bonuses, on top of their 13th and 14th month pays.

Diaz, meanwhile, said the promotions of Arnel Argusar as head of the General Service Office and Jamira Rosario Magbanua as assistant provincial accountant were also approved by Gov. Eugenio Jose Lacson.

Diaz said the appointment of Argusar only needs the concurrence of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan of Negros Occidental, after it was approved by the Provincial Selection Board.

Last week, Diaz said he had signed for approval many permanent positions in hospitals, Budget and Accounting offices, and also the promotion of worthy employees.

“We are trying to strengthen all our departments by filling up permanent positions, that have been opened,” he further said./GB
